Committees and Task Forces

To sign up for a committee or a task force, please e-mail delvalsae@comcast.net. DVSAE appreciates the support of all of our committee members and chairs.

Marketing Task Force:

*Write and distribute press releases for various DVSAE events and news.
*Develop marketing materials for DVSAE programs.
*Brainstorm new ways to promote the association and increase membership.

Member-Expert Exchange Task Force:

* Develop and implement a new service that allows DVSAE members to ask association related questions to an association expert.
* Help secure content experts.
* Monitor and improve the system.

Resource Exchange Task Force:

* Develop and implement a new website page that allows members to share various association resources including RFPs, marketing plans, and membership resources.
* Design the page and layout.
* Solicit and gather resources

Association Industry Surveys Task Force:

* Develop and distribute surveys to the DVSAE members to help them effectively run their associations. Topics may include: Meeting planning, membership woes, HR benefits, and compensation.
* Summarize surveys and distribute to the members.

Membership Committee

Determines how to increase and retain association members. Create an annual membership-marketing plan including member recruitment and renewals, along with membership benefits.

Education/Programs Committee

Design monthly educational programs - select topics & speakers, assist in drafting of promotion, and advise on program policy and format.

Communications Committee

Determines how to utilize the web page to increase member involvement, communications and value.

Professional Development

Determines how to further the association profession in the Delaware Valley area. Organizes CAE Study Groups and looks to create relationships with area colleges.

Supplier Task Force

Determines venues to include association suppliers. Responsible for oversight of Association Marketplace on the web page. Also assist in securing sponsors for the monthly meetings.
